I am a classically-trained singer, voice teacher and yoga enthusiast and also used toning and yoga throughout both my pregnancies and natural births.  The birth of my son 5 months ago was truly a spiritual experience, thanks to the use of toning to help me stay present, relaxed and open.  

&quot;Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh&quot; was my chant.  I learned so much about singing during my labor!  

Thanks for this website.  I&#039;m very interested about the connection between yoga and singing, especially related to the breath and posture.  My students, who are mostly beginners and in high school, have trouble taking low, relaxed breaths.  I think using mountain pose will help them with this - thanks for the ideas.</description>
